Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to have a quote service first?

Not necessarily, if we are clearing just a couple of small items for you, we can quote by item. However, if we are clearing any more than this, we do really need to visit. This is so that we can provide the most accurate quote for the work and make sure we are allocating enough time for the work. It is also helpful for us to take a look at the access options at the property as well. Our services are bespoke and as such tailored to each individual’s needs.

What happens to the good items that get cleared?

Any items that we clear that are still in a serviceable condition will be donated to the charity that we work with, Renewal North West. Renewal will sell high-quality, low-cost items to the community as part of their charitable objectives, and these items would further that work.

How do I know that you’re disposing of things properly?

We have an upper tier, waste carriers license from the environment agency. This means that any and all waste we deal with is disposed of according to government guidelines. You can find out more about this HERE

Do I have to be there on the day?

No. Provided we can safely access the property, you don’t need to be there. Some people would love to oversee the work we do, which is absolutely welcome, however, others find the emotional upheaval of the clearance process a little too much to bear. We are happy to work with whatever is best for you.

How can I pay?

We can accept payment in many forms: cash, card, BACS transfer, and cheque. Once you have booked in your service with us, we’ll send you an invoice with all the details you’ll need to process payment.
